Head of Transit
This individual is one of the most widely recognized professionals in transportation infrastructure project development in Canada.  She has led ground floor development and start-up of several of Canada’s largest urban transportation projects; secured bids and negotiated contracts for private sector firms, ranging from hundreds of millions to billions of dollars; and has a proven ability to strategize and communicate in complex, often highly contentious areas.  Her diversified background spans the full spectrum of executive and leadership functions in both the public and private sectors, including more than 20 years experience in management, major infrastructure project management, negotiations, marketing, public affairs and labour relations.  She has significant experience working with governments at all levels — public interest groups, the media and other stakeholders.

In March 2002, she joined one of the world’s largest transportation companies to establish a North American high speed rail division.  In that capacity, she led a consortium that won a $4.3 billion Design, Build, Operate, Maintain and Finance project for a high speed rail system in Florida.  She also led project development for their high speed efforts in California, the mid-West, and throughout Canada.

Aviation Practice Builder
This candidate is a seller-leader and doer with one of the top 10 in ENR 500.  He has held positions progressing from Sr. Project Manager, to Southeast Market Sector Leader to his current role as Director of Aviation for the federal market with yearly sales target up to 20 million.   His Client focus areas in the Aviation program include US Commercial, Army Corp, AFCEE, and NAVFAC MILCON (where he is a highly regarded service provider) and International work with strengths in Asia Pacific.  This versatile individual is a Practice Builder who understands market assessments, the steps toward pursuits, and how to position a company for success. He is familiar with all aspects of aviation responsibility, and finds the diversity of airside and landside projects appealing in both the commercial and federal markets. He got his start at smaller firms doing implementation and early design on aviation projects and still enjoys mentoring younger engineers with his strong technical background. He is interested in a senior leadership position with a good firm where he can utilize his expertise in project management and help take a company through the next chapter in aviation.

High-End Project Manager/Head of Design
This individual has over 20 years of experience as a registered civil engineer who manages the technical aspects of large, mega projects in both transit and rail.  His titles include Senior Project Manager, Deputy Program Manager and Technical Manager of Design.  He has a deep knowledge of rail, from concept to putting trains in service.  His broad range of experience includes management of engineering design – concept through final design and specifications; project development, and construction engineering services. He puts together the teams, schedules, budgets and proposals.

He was Deputy Program Manager for the largest Light Rail Project in North America (over $5B), including surface track and tunneling; managing all aspects of design: civil, structural, architectural, utilities and track, and overall project implementation.

He established, staffed and managed a District Design and Construction office for a Class 1 Railroad; where he implemented a quality program, reduced time spent in preliminary engineering, streamlined the estimating process and managed the engineering corps of eight project engineers.  He later served as the Railroad’s Resident Engineer.

Federal Program Manager/Business Development
This individual is a Professional Engineer with 30 years of experience in Navy, DOD and Federal Programs.  He is a retired Navy Captain with in-depth knowledge of the Government Contracting and the Navy’s Source Selection Process.  He is President of the Hawaii Chapter of the National Contract Management Association.  He currently works with the Navy on a daily basis and has close relationships throughout NAVFAC including newly appointed Chief of Engineering Chris Mossey.  This Senior Project Manager and Business Development Leader  brought in 4 contracts in a single year with a combined value over 100 million dollars and was a crucial part of capturing a 100 Million dollar contract for a DynCorp joint venture in 2006.  On the technically side John is extremely strong in managing the design process, design review, and quality control from concept through final design.  He is a skilled Program Manager He is currently acting as owner’s rep on a 375, 000 square foot design bid build project that is being designed to LEED Gold standards.  Responsibilities include all contract awards, day-to day administration, schedule and cost control, payments, bid protests,claims, dispute resolution, contract modifications (“change orders”), and client negotiations regarding contract scope definition.
